No single arrow specification is suitable for every archer. Bow type, actual draw weight, draw length, arrow length, spine, and point weight all influence arrow selection and flight performance. ZHAN-E focuses on both specification accuracy and finished-arrow performance.

From Specification Checks to Real Shooting Tests
ZHAN-E uses professional equipment to check key specifications, including spine, straightness, and GPI. We also inspect printing, logos, fletching adhesion, points, nocks, and other assembly details.
Finished arrows are then sampled from production batches for practical shooting tests. Combining specification checks, visual inspections, and shooting feedback helps us evaluate product quality and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Different archery targets serve different purposes. For 3D targets, ZHAN-E focuses on arrow penetration, arrow-removal force, foam recovery after arrow removal, and stability on uneven ground.

Finding the Right Foam Formulation
Foam formulation is one of the most important factors in 3D target development. Drag the hardness slider to see how a formulation choice changes the trade-offs in the field.
Arrows stop at a consistent depth while scoring zones hold up through repeated rounds — the standard we aim to establish before mass production.
During product development, we conduct repeated outdoor shooting tests using the same target model. We check foam hardness with a hardness tester and evaluate penetration depth, arrow-removal resistance, and the condition of scoring zones after repeated use. These tests help us establish a suitable standard formulation before mass production.

ZHAN-E offers 3D animal targets in various designs, including turkey, rabbit, and skunk models. Outdoor models can be equipped with ground stakes for added stability.
Foam formulation, hardness, colors, dimensions, and target designs can be evaluated according to project requirements, with custom molds available for qualified development projects.
03 — Archery Accessory Testing
Every Detail Matters
Accessories also play an important role in the overall shooting experience. For brands, wholesalers, and distributors, dimensional consistency, assembly quality, and batch stability are essential considerations when selecting a long-term supplier.
Lighted Nocks: A Focus on Assembly and Function
Lighted nocks require particular attention during production. Each unit contains an LED, a miniature battery, and a triggering mechanism. Precise drilling is also required to accommodate the battery. Poor electrical contact can cause a nock to fail to illuminate, while unintended activation can drain the battery during storage.

Each unit is manually assembled and individually checked for illumination under low-light conditions. We also inspect activation, fit within the arrow shaft, and adhesive curing where applicable.
